What we love about this home:

The most amazing thing about this home is it’s so unpretentious from the front… a simple classic terrace on a great street. When friends visit it’s always a complete surprise. People are genuinely in rapture about the design as it takes time to take in each and every space. It is a flowing tranquil space, the angles always play on the light.

Living here, you can move around in the various spaces depending on the mood and company.  We love putting guests in the front room where they can easily let themselves out in the morning to enjoy the delights of Johnston, Smith and Brunswick Street or simply retreat upstairs. For a room on the street, most can’t believe how quiet it is.

We love being in the second bedroom where we can look out to the garden atrium and hear the rain at night or just watch the light peak through the fern garden in the morning.

Most of all, we love the connection with the outside. You step in from the street and instantly you are in a cave of tranquility.  From the moment you step in the doorway you can see the sunsets or sunrises from the second storey.  And when you are on the couch you can see the morning sky or the dusk of the day.
