John S. Compliment Auction of our property at 2/7 Graves Street, Essendon on 26/11/16. The staff member who managed our auction proved to be very polite, respectful, and courteous in every way. His passion and commitment to handling the auction of our property and to the campaign that preceded the auction was consistently obvious. His level of communication could not be faulted in any way. There were some occasions when I was dubious about decisions being made. However, my concerns were listened to in a very supportive manner. Ultimately the advice, guidance and direction provided proved to be totally accurate. Knowledge of the real estate business, experience, sales record, and knowledge of the Essendon/Moonee Valley market were quickly apparent and the outcome of our auction reflected this. Attention to detail could not be faulted in any way and was of the highest standard. After my first meeting with the agent's rep, I was not sure he was who we were looking for to handle our auction. However, our second meeting with him dispelled my concerns and the very successful outcome of our auction more than proved beyond any doubt that we had made the right choice. I was particularly impressed when we were thanked for entrusting the sale/auction of our property to this agent. The agent's assistant was equally courteous, showing us every respect, and was very helpful. The auctioneer handled the actual auction with striking enthusiasm and audible energy. From what we could hear, he drove the auction without hesitation, keeping the pace constant so that the momentum of the bidding was not allowed to lapse. There is no doubt at all that the outcome of the auction, which was much, much higher above the reserve than we could ever have imagined or expected, was the result of a very effective advertising campaign and the auction managed by this team. I am most grateful to the Nelson Alexander team and very much appreciate all that they achieved for us. Thank you. It was a real pleasure indeed to have them auction our property.
