I have really loved living in this area for over a decade. It has been ideal to live in and has the perfect balance for life, work and play. I sometimes forget that I’m living in a complex as the residents are considerate with only the occasional festive party. I’ve enjoyed making friends with other residents through interactions in the communal courtyard, where a smile and a nod have led to some good friendships.

The apartment feels quite spacious thanks to the open plan design and I have fond memories of having many family dinners and parties. Living on the ground floor has meant that the apartment remains cool in the hot summer and the double doors leading into our private courtyard allow a lovely breeze to filter through.

Being surrounded by so many parks, it’s nice to get lost in the suburban feel of life while still remaining close to all the city action and the trendy cafes of Carlton and hip bars around Brunswick. The Avenue is home to many types of bird life and I quite often walk to and from work listening to the lively interaction of the local parrots.

I initially purchased this apartment as a single professional. However, it has transformed from an executive apartment into our family home. For the past five years we have raised a young family here which has benefited from the family friendly environment. With Melbourne Zoo and Princes Park at our doorstep, we have enjoyed a great variety of family outings. Princes Park is a hub of activity, with a public golf course across the road, there’s always somewhere I can get my fitness kick.  Barkly Square, the CBD and Vic Market are only a tram ride away, saving us hours of commuting time every week.

We are sure the new owner is going to enjoy this central parkland living.
