What we love about this home:
We chose this location because of the views over the Yarra River and across to Yarra Bend Park. We love the abundance of bird life, particularly the Rainbow Lorikeets and the Kookaburras, we feel like we are in the country but are only 6km from the CBD.
We were making our first move into apartment living and we felt this was perfect for us. It is the size of a small house with plenty of room to each do our own thing. We love the bright airy feel and the fact that it has light coming from three sides.
Two balconies looking over the river are great for entertaining or just a quiet meal together. Our remote control two car garage with 2 large storage rooms enables us to easily store all those things you need like suitcases, golf clubs, bikes.
What we love about this suburb:
Alphington is a small leafy suburb. We love the location next to Coate Park with direct access to the river.
There are great walks in all directions, along the river, Yarra Bend Park, Dights Falls. A short walk to Alphington or Fairfield station and you can be in the City in twenty minutes. Lots of cafes and restaurants in Station Street and Fairfield Boathouse is close by.
Why we are selling:
We will be sad to leave but we are moving closer to the city to be near our children and Grandson.
