Owners Notes

What we love about this home:

We purchased the home for our son 12 years ago. The home had one owner since new and was in completely original condition. I grew up around the corner in North Rd and as we passed daily as kids we believed that very famous and wealthy people must live there as it was the best looking house in our area. When it came up for auction I only went along for a look and decided to purchase only on the last two bids. We renovated the kitchen and the bathroom and replaced windows, electrics, Hot water and heating as the house was in original condition and it soon became a lovely comfortable period home that was enjoyed by my son until his circumstances changed. I still believe this house is one of the best late 1940s/1950s homes in the Northern suburbs. I’m yet to see a better one with all its original features in tact.

What we love about this suburb:

As I was born in Reservoir I have seen the many changes and they are all for the better. I moved to the inner city to find a lifestyle that I never thought I would ever see in Reservoir. I was wrong, it is close to all transport, There are cafes and eateries everywhere, improved shopping in Edwards St, Broadway, Summerhill, and it’s all around you!

Why we are selling:

My sons circumstances have changed and we are thinking of retirement.

Any other information:

Great suburb that is improving by the day and you are at the ‘Paris end’ of Reservoir.
