What we love about this home:
We purchased this property 6 years and were drawn to the great location and potential for renovation and expansion. The house was in original condition when we bought the property and upon purchase, we put in a new kitchen and new bathroom, stripped back the carpet and polished the original floorboards, restumped the house, put in robes and ceiling fans in each bedroom and installed heating and cooling. Over time, the house has been painted inside and out and a picket fence and gate installed at the front.
The house is a lovely, light-filled space. The rooms are generously proportioned and maintain the original ornate ceilings and cornices.
The block is large and there is a great backyard that offers a wonderful space for veggie gardens, fruit trees and a children’s play area. There is a shed and garage that offer significant space for storage and parking.

This property is located in the premier part of Preston. It is located within a short walk to the 11 tram and no more than a 10-minute walk to Preston station. The vibrant Preston Market and High St shops are a short walk or drive away and offer numerous opportunities for shopping, eating and drinking. Northland Shopping Centre is a short drive away.
There are cafes, restaurants and parks in every direction that are no more than a 5-10-minute walk away. The street is filled with quiet and friendly neighbours. It is a truly fantastic location.
