What we love about this home:
We love the feel of the house with its solid construction, large rooms, warm original timber finishes, efficient layout, natural light and the green outlook from all sides.
We enjoy the open fireplace, the way the kitchen flows to the deck and the back garden, views through the trees, the front access at street level and the undercover access from the garage.
It is a very comfortable house and we will particularly miss working from the study at the top level, with its interesting shape and outlook.
What we love about this suburb:
We love the hills, our elevated position, the trees, proximity to Eaglemont station and shops and walks around the summit of Mt Eagle and the Walter Burley Griffin estate.
Why we are selling:
The house is now too big for us.
Any other information:
An abundance of storage space.
