Smart modern townhouse in a quiet yet convenient locale
Owners Notes
Townhouse 4 has been a wonderful home for me for the last 18 years.
It’s a very comfortable, secure and quiet place tucked away and set well back from the street as it is.
It has always been cosy in winter & cool in summer with the choice of private outdoor spaces for entertaining or just quietly curling up with a good book.
I’ve enjoyed creating the garden in the courtyard and collecting the mix of pot plants on the garage top terrace. I’ve always craved good natural light and I’ve had access to this here even in winter.
I’ve stayed here for so long partly because I’ve felt part of this friendly community, and partly because it’s been ideal in terms of location for me: I worked in the city for most of that time and was able to so easily hop on the 96 tram (Nicholson Street) or the number 1 or 6 (Lygon Street) & be at work in no time!
The same ease of access to public transport has applied to socialising or shopping with the great range of shops & eating places available nearby in Carlton, Barkly Square & North Fitzroy an easy tram ride or walk away – or just down around the corner in Lygon St East Brunswick.
For any trips needing a car I could just open the garage & drive away – too easy!
It’s the right time now for me to move on but I’ll leave here with great friendships & memories from the wonderful time I’ve enjoyed here.
