What we love about this home:
We purchased this property 12 years ago as we loved open plan living and northerly aspect at the rear. This townhouse was considerably more spacious than a lot of the others we viewed before purchasing.
The large, private back yard was the first project we tackled, completely re-designing and replanting the garden, which is now beautifully established and provides another private outdoor space for the family and pets.
Throughout the year the back-entertaining deck and garage space has been used for entertaining family and friends and is easily accessed from the main living area to garden. We have really enjoyed this indoor-outdoor lifestyle. In the winter months, the back of the house is filled with sunshine providing natural light, warmth and reducing heating costs substantially.
What we love about this suburb:
Reservoir has been a fantastic place to live being nearby Edwardes Lake Park, Tennis Club & Bowling Club along with heaps of parks and playgrounds, interesting food, restaurants, shops, library and friendly people. Kelsby Street is a really quiet street and we have met some amazing neighbours who we often spend time with. The bus and train are both within walking distance, providing easy access to multiple transport options and the city can be reached by car within 25 minutes. A completely new Railway station is currently being built. The new Summerhill Shopping Centre and Northland Shopping Centre are conveniently located.
Why we are selling:
Given our age, we want to live closer to our children and are wanting a smaller property.
