BLONDE-BRICK BEAUTY WITH ROOM TO MOVE

Set on a surprisingly deep block of land (approx. 595sqm), this classic 1950s home presents a ready-to-enjoy family lifestyle with opportunities to modernize and extend in the future (STCA). Immaculate throughout, the home's inviting interior comprises a central hallway accessing three generous bedrooms (all with robes) and updated central bathroom, spacious lounge with gas-log fireplace and adjoining dining area, kitchen/meals. Additional features include split-system heating/cooling as well as ducted evaporative cooling, alarm system, polished hardwood floors, front double carport, plus a huge north-facing backyard with large workshop/storeroom, neat gardens and plenty of room to expand. Moments from Reservoir Primary School, it's also walking distance to Reservoir Station, Edwardes Street cafes and vibrant shopping precinct.

Owners Notes

What we love about this home:

When we first knew about this property, the aspect that attracted our attention most was its ‘location’. There has been a common agreement among the real estate agents and the property hunters that buying a property is all about ‘location, location and location’. This property is located within one minute walk to the primary school, and 10 minutes’ walk to the train station and various bus stops and shops. Our family have benefited a lot from this location in both our work and life.

Moreover, we have also made great efforts after purchasing this property to improve both the interior design and the exterior view. The interior has been nicely designed, and been maintained in a good clean condition. The front garden and the backyard are also well maintained with lovely plants and veggies growing well. Therefore, this house has become a nice and cosy place to live in and relax, in addition to its great location.

What we love about this suburb:

This suburb, Reservoir, has been well developed and become a fantastic area to live with the great convenience in transportation (trains and buses), catering (restaurants and cafes), entertainment (parks and lakes), education and all kinds of community services.
The shop ‘Sargent’s Cakes” sells the best cheese cakes that we have ever eaten. We love the coffee from ‘Clayton & me’ most among the cafes. My family have also spent many quiet and informative days in the Reservoir Library.

Why we are selling:

As our sister’s family have migrated and settled in Melbourne recently, we are moving to the area where they are living so that the two families could live close to each other and spend more time together
