What we love about this home:
We purchased the property as our first home in early 2000. The spaciousness and open plan living were instantly appealing, as was the potential to modernise and improve it to suit our needs. We added a three-car garage, study, installed a new kitchen, updated bathroom and laundry areas and invested in solid timber floors, for a modern touch.
Externally, we landscaped the front yard, and created the ultimate outdoor living/ entertainment area witnesses many family gatherings, as we loved hosting get-togethers and celebrations. As we expanded from a couple to a family, it also provided a secure and considerable space for your children to play in. We really appreciated the advantage of two indoor living spaces, especially once the kids came along! The position of the home in a crescent was also a plus for us, as was having the creek and parkland at the rear of the property.
What we love about this suburb:
This is a quiet area, conveniently located close to many points of interest. Accessibility to the Western Ring Road is a draw-card, added to the convenience of having multiple train stations and bus stops close by. There are many parks and playgrounds in the area, the closest being only a couple of minutes’ walks or a bike ride away and the picturesque Edwardes Lake is not far. Easy access to schools, sporting clubs/facilities, shopping precincts, eateries and other services, enhance the livability of the area.
Why we are selling:
It was a difficult decision to sell. So many amazing and unforgettable memories were created here, for so many! The property has been an investment for the past 2 years and our tenants share our love for the home. Although, it is a wonderful home, our path needs to change with growing needs of our family.
