Owners Notes
What we love about this home:
This has been our family home for over 60 year’s. It’s a spacious family home that accommodated 7 children comfortably. It’s a beautiful flat backyard and we had plenty of room to play as kids. And then as young adults, it was a perfect yard for entertaining.
We all walked up to Holy Spirit to school. We then all caught the bus at the end of the street to our high schools. There are so many fabulous schools in the area. It’s walking distance to Northcote Pool where we spent so much time as kids. Then later as adults utilising the fabulous pool and gym.
It’s a post war era home that has been beautifully maintained. It’s lush gardens and lawns are also beautifully maintained. It wouldn’t take a lot to renovate and modernise the large kitchen and living areas.
What we love about this suburb:
Thornbury is a beautiful area with many parks and gardens. It’s close to Darebin Park lands. Walking and cycling tracks. Walking distance to Northcote pool and gym. Walking distance to the beautiful Station Street shopping strip and Fairfield train Station.
Walking distance to Northcote Plaza and High St with all it’s bars and cafes. It’s an easy bus/train ride into the city with the city centre being only 10 Kms away. It’s beautiful flat streets make for easy walking with prams and small children. It’s surrounded by many fabulous private and public schools.
Why we are selling:
It has been our much loved family home with lots of memories. It’s time for a new family to create a new life chapter with this home.
