Owners Notes

We purchased 97 Cardigan Street in the late 1990s for use by our three children when attending university. Our family home was on the outskirts of Melbourne. Cardigan Street was a home for these family members until around 2010 when it became a very successful investment with its position and size readily attracting tenants.

The location of the home allows easy walking access to the CBD, RMIT University and the University of Melbourne. It is a short stroll to Lygon Street with its restaurants, cafes and the iconic Cinema Nova, King & Godfree, Tiamo (a favourite), Brunetti’s Carlton and Readings bookstore. Also within walking distance are the Exhibition Gardens, the Argyle Square Gardens and the City Baths. As inner city living became more popular local amenities improved, including the Lincoln Hotel (also a favourite).

This is a home which our children have loved and where many happy memories have been created.
