Spacious, secluded and well-situated

What we love about this home:
We couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtfully designed, practical, spacious home. We wanted things like good old fashioned storage space, ways to section off the house, natural light and high ceilings. Bingo! My husband’s wish of a double garage with built in cupboards came true and every room I entered on our first inspection, had plenty of cupboards and cleverly built in shelves, which has enabled more living space.
We love having two main, separate living spaces. We’ve used one for the adults to relax in at the end of the day and one for kid’s mess, playdates and art projects. The floorboards in our living areas were practical and the plush carpets in the bedrooms feel great on tired feet.
Our northerly outlook has also enabled us to use both outdoor spaces really well. We spend our mornings, sitting on the porch watching our little one learn to ride a bike, safely, in the huge driveway, create artistic chalk designs and play basketball. We have BBQs in our covered entertaining area, where we enjoy our secluded garden, with family and friends.
What we love about Heidelberg Heights:
It is central to everything and in every direction! Rosanna, Heidelberg, and Ivanhoe cafes, shops and train stations are within five minutes’ drive. The nearby hospitals have come in handy more than a few times and Northland shopping centre is just around the corner. Ring Rd and Eastern Freeway access have been convenient for work and weekend adventures.
We have walked, driven and rode to some great parks and feel we have been spoilt for choice. When we walk down our quiet street to the closest park, we see friendly neighbours and have made some lifelong friends during our time here.
Why are we selling?
Moving interstate. We would take our home and friends with us if we could!
