What we love about this home:
We have loved the “easy to live in” feel of this home – it’s light and bright, and has a clean, contemporary look. We love its spaciousness – it has a great layout and the bedrooms are all a generous size. Being at the end of the driveway, it’s very quiet and private. Having the bus stop conveniently close by, and ready access to the Ivanhoe shopping strip and train station, have made it a great location to live in. The local amenities are excellent in every direction. There is also quick access to the city and eastern suburbs by car, through the Chandler Highway exit connecting to the Eastern Freeway. We’ve also enjoyed having close proximity to the airport, which is only 30 minutes away.
What we love about Ivanhoe:
We love that Ivanhoe is so close to the city and is well connected via the Melbourne train and bus networks. It has all manner of shopping, cafes and dining at the Ivanhoe shopping precinct on Upper Heidelberg Road, as well as being in easy distance to Fairfield, Northcote, Northland and Doncaster.
Walking in this suburb is also enjoyable – the streets are quiet and there are several sports ovals close by. Rockbeare Park is a great place to have a picnic.
Why we are selling:
We’re siblings who purchased this beautiful property eight years ago. Now we want to purchase our own homes, but stay in this area we love so much!
