Owners Notes

What we love about this home:

This architect-designed late 1950’s house has been our family home for the past 47 years, and holds many happy memories.
A main feature is the large bank of north-facing windows which lets the sunshine into the living rooms in the winter months, making living very comfortable and eco-friendly.
Other features are the light-filled atrium style entrance, the spacious lounge room for entertaining and the large rumpus room downstairs.
The established trees on the boundaries provide a private and quiet garden setting.

What we love about Eaglemont:

The Righi is a gracious, tree-lined street in a desirable and prestigious suburb. The area offers excellent shopping at the Ivanhoe, East Ivanhoe, Burgundy
Street and Eaglemont shopping centres.
Public transport is catered for by the Ivanhoe and Eaglemont railway stations.
Also, the Eastern Freeway is only a few minutes away, making access to the City very convenient.
Ivanhoe Grammar School, Ivanhoe Girls Grammar School and the East Ivanhoe Primary school are also close by.
The nearby Yarra River environs provide great opportunities for recreation and sport.

Why we are selling:

We are selling the house as the family has long-since moved away, and I am downsizing to smaller accommodation.

Other Information:

Advice from Banyule Council’s Planning department is that the site has potential for two dwellings (eg. townhouses), subject to Council approving the development proposal.
