Owners Notes

What we love about this home:

The separation between the master bedroom and second bedroom, providing privacy when family and friends come to stay. We also love the original exposed brick hallway entry, perfect for displaying our art. The old, hardwood floors are absolutely beautiful, representing the history of our home.

The newly renovated European style bathroom and laundry means there is lots of room. We don’t have to fight over mirror or cabinet space when getting ready for work.

We also love how bright our home is, allowing natural sunlight through to the master bedroom, living room, kitchen and dining areas.

What we love about this suburb:

Our home in Fitzroy North in the perfect location – being one street away from the hustle and bustle of Fitzroy, but also walking distance to Clifton Hill and Carlton North.

We have the beautiful Edinburgh Gardens two blocks away, which is a great way to exercise our two little dogs. There is Scotchmer Street, which hosts our local veterinary clinic, pet spa, favourite bottle shop, Italian restaurant and bakery. When we run out of groceries, we are spoiled for choice with Piedemontes, Coles Fitzroy or Woolworth Fitzroy. If we are hungry, well, that’s a tough one, as every international cuisine is just minutes away.

Why we are selling:

Being from Queensland, we miss having a large yard for our dogs to run and play in. With family visiting from up North every few months, we need more space to accommodate all the family visits.

Any other information:

We took great care in selecting every item for the renovations so as to not destroy the heritage look and feel of our home. The renovations bring a sense of warmth and retro pastel colour explosion, providing the perfect blend from the old to the retro new.
