What we love about this home:

When we first moved into 5 Fribourg Court, we had our son who was one-year-old. We found it to be a peaceful, child-friendly home. Each room has a lovely flow, particularly the kitchen and meals areas and is very easy to live in. The master bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite have been well designed and are very spacious, and the study nook in the hallway leading to the master bedroom is a clever addition to maximize the space (the cupboard and storage areas are wonderful!). The fireplace is a nice touch to the colder winter months, and we have enjoyed using it, despite the ducted heating system. The gardens are easily maintained (there is an automated sprinkler system and water tank) and the large gardenia hedge in the front and azaleas in the backyard are beautiful when flowering. The glass-enclosed fishpond is a calming addition to the undercover deck area and we have entertained many friends and family here as it is a large, accommodating space.

We also love that Fribourg Court is one of apparently only 3 courts in Ivanhoe East. It made spending time in the front yard safe and peaceful.

What we love about this suburb:

Ivanhoe East is a gem. There is easy access from 5 Fribourg Court to local schools, East Ivanhoe Village with its shops, cafes and restaurants and easy access to the city via the Freeway. Despite it being relatively close to Bourke Road North, it is a peaceful area.

Why we are selling:

Sadly, as our family is growing, we are looking for a home with a larger backyard to accommodate our very active children! We have spent 2 ½ years in Sydney and now that we are returning home we will look for another property in the Ivanhoe East areas and surrounds as we love the area so much.
