What we love about this home:

We love the spacious living areas and generous bedroom sizes, which make you feel like you’re living in a house rather than an apartment. The many windows provide ample natural light throughout the apartment, and being the penthouse, sometimes it truly feels like you are in the clouds.

We specifically changed the original design plan of the apartment to incorporate a full walk-in-robe for both bedrooms, as well as extra storage throughout. This was important to us from a practical point of view.

We love the large balcony which gives us even more living space and is a great place to while away an afternoon upon.

What we love about this suburb:

We love this vibrant corner of Gilbert Street and have really seen it thrive since we first purchased the apartment. We are both big foodies and the nearby cafes are pretty amazing. The convenience of having a local grocery and liquor store as well as other specialty stores such as the butcher and the florist mean that you would never have to even leave the area if you didn’t want to.

Merri Creek is only one street away, less than a five minute walk. The tram stop is right outside the apartment, and the tram takes you straight to the city via Brunswick Street.

The neighbourhood is a residential one and is surprisingly quiet and safe, with a real sense of community pride.

Why we are selling:

We have gone for a tree change and have bought a house in Warrandyte. We are at that time in our lives where we are thinking of starting a family and where we need a backyard for our possible new addition(s) 🙂
