What we love about this home

When we first inspected this house as a young couple 12 years ago, we immediately fell in love and signed the contract to purchase it in the same afternoon. This has been our loving home since.

We love the cosy feel, the design and layout, amazing storage spaces including additional walk-in robe in third bedroom, good size bathroom including tub and the closeness to the park (with no-through road).

The early morning walk/run or taking a walk/run around the reserve after work is exhilarating.

The convenience of public transport (easy walking distance to both Tram 19 on Sydney Road and Batman train station) means we don’t have to drive and find parking near public transport. We love it.

We enjoy BBQs in the park or entertaining friends with a BBQ in our courtyard.

We love going on bike rides on the different bike trails.

We enjoy fresh food shopping at Preston market which is a short drive straight down Murray Road, or at Coles, Coburg Home centre down Gaffney Street (Bunnings, Petbarn, Harvey Norman, Harris Scarfe Home, Officeworks) or at the Coburg shopping village on Sydney Road.

What we love about this suburb

We love the relaxing and tranquil surroundings, being directly opposite Coburg Lake Reserve and playgrounds, watching the streams of the lake, the ducks and swans, the serenity while listening to the water and relaxing, picnicking in the park, Carols by the lake, Coburg outdoor pool in the summer, and Coburg drive-in-cinema around the corner.

Our kids have grown up so we are upsizing.
