Owners Notes
What we love about this home:
As a family with young children we fell in love in 9 Frankston Street.
The Californian Bungalow style won our hearts and we have found that the house has suited the different stages of our family as it has grown and changed. There is always somewhere in the house for you to feel at home, be it coming together for a family dinner, quiet nights in with seperate living spaces, or options for working from home.
We have loved entertaining friends and family on the deck, which has hosted a number of birthday parties, BBQ’s and evenings watching the sun go down over the garden. The garden has been a productive kitchen garden, with lemon, orange, apricot, plum and avocado trees, vegetable beds, and herbs providing year round produce.
Miss 10: “Upstairs is my favourite place to hang out. I can be alone or with my friends when they come over for sleep overs. I have loved having a backyard to practice my handstands”.
Master 9: “My favourite part of our house is climbing our avocado trees to pick all the avocados or to hide from my sister. I love playing down ball on our deck or front yard. I also like that there are different places to watch TV away from my parents”.
What we love about this suburb:
The neighbourhood and suburb has gone through some changes as younger families like ours have moved in.
Being close to Preston markets, Regent station and Gilbert Road tram, it makes everything accessible. The diversity of food on High street and at the markets is really outstanding. There are also lots of options for bike rides into the city and walks such as Edwards lake. Frankston Street is a wonderful friendly neighbourhood.
Why we are selling:
After a decade of living and loving 9 Frankston Street, we made the decision it is time to move back to our home state of Queensland to be closer to family.
