An Iconic Fitzrovian

With its place in local history as part of a row of nine Victorian homes built c1896, this quintessential Fitzroy terrace house enjoys a position of unmatched convenience in the centre of Melbourne's cultural heart, mere moments from vibrant Brunswick Street cafes, shops, trams and nightlife. Beyond its tuck-pointed-brick façade with high ceilings throughout, the home comprises a formal sitting room with original OFP, a generously proportioned informal living/dining room with OFP and contemporary kitchen that leads to the light-filled courtyard, 2 double bedrooms (one with BIRs), central bathroom with Euro laundry, heating and air-conditioning. Presenting an excellent opportunity to attain your own slice of the increasingly popular inner-north, the home boasts easy access to many fine schools, Nicholson Street trams, Fitzroy Pools and just a short stroll through Carlton Gardens via the Melbourne Museum to Lygon Street or the CBD. It's was fab working with Roland and Alex. The whole process of selling my home was painless and actually interesting. Roland and Alex gave realistic appraisals of my home and kept me up-to-date with feedback from potential buyers. I particularly enjoyed Roland's humour, and on the day of the auction I felt fairly at ease. Marly, who works with Roland and Alex, deserves mention because she organised the behind-the-scenes business with incredible efficiency. You hear all kinds of not so flattering stories about estate agents, but Roland and Alex certainly do not fit the grim stereotypes pedalled by, in particular, comedians.
