What we love about this home:

We have lived in this home for 19 years and it has suited the changing needs as our family was growing up. Initially, we were drawn to the period features downstairs – the high, ornate ceilings, the wood paneling and fretwork in the hallway which all give the house its charm.  The space upstairs is ideal for younger children, teenagers and then young adults.  Early on we had the back garden levelled and paving laid – this provides a fantastic outdoor entertaining area and this is where our family’s milestones were celebrated over the years.  When not entertaining the children spent countless hours playing with their friends – just add a basketball ring and it makes a great half court!

What we love about this suburb:

One of the home’s biggest advantages is that it is within walking distance of the station for an easy commute into the city or for children to travel to school.  You will be spoilt for choice with all the cafes and restaurants that Upper Heidelberg Road has to offer – all a few minutes stroll away. Ivanhoe has a village atmosphere and is the perfect family friendly suburb. The pool and gym are just around the corner and a brisk stroll down to Chelsworth Park will find you down by the river in no time.
