What we love about this home:

As a young couple, we were looking for a home that offered us a lifestyle we wanted and the opportunity to potentially grow our family.  Building 268 Wood St was like a dream come true!

We absolutely love coming home and walking up the front path to this unique home with so much character.  Even before walking in, we still admire the charm is provides on the outside!  Once the door is opened we love the warmth the floor boards provide and instantly give you that sense of home!

The large kitchen and living area has been the focal point of our home.  It has been the location for entertaining family and friends weekly! During the warmer months, extending this to the outdoor area which provides both beautiful sunlight and shade makes the area complete!

Our large size bedrooms have provided comfort not only for us but for visiting family and friends.  The two lounge areas, both upstairs and down have further accommodating our entertaining and hosting needs and showed us how it would have been a great for when we had our own children.

Our most loved features of this home are the natural light it provides, the comfort and character and the opportunities it has provided us with.

What we love about this suburb:

The neighbourhood has a great feel from the friendly neighbours to the real sense of community, which made our time living at 268 Wood Street thoroughly enjoyable.

We have loved that there is a real sense of old meets new in the Preston area. From the Preston market, to high street being lined with modern cafes and family run businesses that have been established for many years; you are provided with numerous opportunities to indulge in many cuisines at any time of the day!

Location to the city.

Shopping in the area is extremely convenient with easy access to High St, Preston Market, Northland Shopping Centre which provides a range of shops.  Everything is either a short walk away or public transport is easily accessible, especially with the tram line on High Street.

We are also very active people and have found walking, running and bike riding to be very pleasant in the area.  There are small parks which have been great to meet locals, throw a ball or just take some time out to read on a sunny day.

Why we are selling:

We moved in to the area as we loved the lifestyle opportunity it presented and delivered us with.  We now need to sell due to work opportunities in another location.
