What we love about this home: What attracted us to this townhouse was the simple yet functional design of the floorplan. Split levels with living/dining downstairs and bedrooms upstairs was appealing. There is a great generous amount of storage as well as the addition of an outdoor shed. Being the front townhouse, there is lots of natural light which beams through the floor to ceiling windows anytime of the year. During spring and summer the beautiful trees which line Locksley Road offer a stunning view from the kitchen and bedroom windows and keep the place cool, also offering privacy. The new fences are lockable and offer peace of mind and security. There is an outdoor alfresco area which is covered and perfect for entertaining all year round.

There are five townhouses in the block. The neighbours are friendly and everyone in the block is keen to constantly maintain and improve the building. We have a body corporate who is committed to improving the aesthetics of our development and who are very responsive if any issues arise. As part of their services a gardener comes and maintains the grounds. It is a fine tuned, safe and comfortable home.

What we love about this suburb: We moved into Ivanhoe five years ago – our first home together. We have loved every minute living in this suburb since taking possession. The location is ideal – Ivanhoe train station is a short walk, main street Ivanhoe which is home to beautiful shops and restaurants is minutes away and other amenities and schools are all within close proximity. It is the perfect place to call home.

Why we are selling: With a growing family, we have unfortunately outgrown our first family home and are transitioning into a bigger space. It has not been any easy decision and one which is hard. Ivanhoe has been a perfect, safe, central and beautiful place for us and I’m sure it will be for you too!
