What we love about this home: 

We have loved living in our house for the past 30 years. It is a wonderful family home and has been a gathering place for all extended family as well. The doors from the kitchen fully open out to our deck allowing seamless flow of people in and out and the island bench is on wheels and turns into a bar for a party.

The commercial sized oven more than caters for Christmas, family birthdays, my sister’s wedding and any celebrations. It is an entertainers’ paradise.

Favorite thing is jumping in the pool before work and an after-work swim gazing up at the stars from the pool. On a hot summer night, you feel like you are in a tropical resort.

We now enjoy meeting guests from all over the world who fall in love with our accommodation.

The main bedroom is a nook of serenity and peace to escape the demands of the world. In winter the gas fire place is cozy and inviting and it’s also peaceful to work in the space that overlooks the front garden and deck.

Winter sun floods the front deck and it’s a protected little oasis for reading.

What we love about this suburb:

The main thing I love about Clifton Hill is the fact that we can walk to the city. The gardens around here are spectacular and well looked after. The parks are beautiful. Public transport for every age group is reliable and fast.

The cafes, wide streets, local schools and tennis courts across the road.
