What we love about this home:

We purchased this property 2.5 years ago as we loved the potential for renovation, open plan living and northern aspect at the rear.

We have absolutely loved transforming the original home into an open plan entertainer with an improved layout that makes the most of every available space.

The large, private front yard was the first project we tackled, completely re-designing and replanting the garden, which is now beautifully established and provides another private outdoor space for the family and pets.

Throughout the year the back entertaining deck and garage space has been used for entertaining family and friends and is easily accessed from the main living area through French doors. We have really enjoyed this indoor/outdoor lifestyle. In the winter months the back of the house if filled with sunshine, providing natural light, warmth and reducing heating costs substantially.

The recycled timber features make the home something special and provide some unique character, for example, the kitchen island bench is made from the original hardwood framing.

What we love about this suburb:

Reservoir has been a fantastic place to live with heaps of parks and playgrounds, interesting food and friendly people. Kyneton Avenue is a really quiet street and we’ve met some amazing neighbours who we often spend time with. The tram and train are both within walking distance, providing easy access to multiple transport options, and the city can be reached by car within 25 minutes. The new Summer Hill Shopping Centre is conveniently close.

Why we are selling:

We are moving down to Geelong and have decided to sell Reservoir and purchase a family home in Geelong.
