Owners Notes

We have really enjoyed our time at 8 Ivy Street. We moved into this lovely home 4 years ago. We love the neighbourhood and the convenience of the location. One of the things that struck us when we first moved in was the fact that you hear birds singing in the mornings, even though you are so close to the hustle and bustle of the city. We recently installed built in robes in the bedrooms, which were designed and made by a local cabinet maker and have been a great investment. We also installed ducted heating and air conditioning, which keep us toasty warm in winter and nice and cool in the warmer months. We work from home from time to time and the study area has been fantastic as a place away from distractions but comfortable and practical to work in. We had a gardener build some veggie and herb beds in the back which has greatly enhanced our cooking! The back garden is a great asset for entertaining and we have really enjoyed being able to share the ambience with family and friends over the last few years. Opening the rear bi-fold doors on a bright sunny day is fantastic and makes entertaining in the evening seamless. It’s time for us to move on and while we are sad to leave our lovely home, we are sure the next owner of 8 Ivy Street will love it as much as we have.

My partner Jason and I decided to sell our house a few months ago. We had met Charlie Barham at a function and we seriously didnt consider going to anyone else.
