Selling a home in a downturned market is very challenging and stressful but our agents developed a marketing strategy and executed it in a manner to find the prospects aligned to the buyers we were looking for. We realised from the outset that we would also have to put the effort in to open the house at every opportunity and present it as the home our buyers were looking for. Our agents spent the time to become knowledgeable with all the features and specifications of our home so they could answer questions from prospective buyers and reinforce the benefits of living here.
We went through a few different “go to market strategies” such as auction, expression of interest and private sale and were impressed with the adaptive methods as the market conditions changed. Our agents were very attentive to maximum publicity for our open inspections and provided us detailed feedback after each event, in addition to advice on what needed to be done next. We were not left wondering if all elements had been covered.
