Captivating Edwardian-Era Home with a Character All its Own

A beauty defined by its bay windows, distinctive ornamentation and gorgeous gardens all round, this unique period home (c.1915) offers a truly outstanding lifestyle opportunity in a blissfully quiet family-focused Coburg neighbourhood. With well-proportioned rooms and an abundance of natural light, the home's immediately enjoyable interior comprises three genuinely large bedrooms (master with built-in robes) and study/fourth bedroom, contemporary-style central bathroom and separate (second) WC. Add to this an elegant and spacious lounge room and an updated kitchen with ample cupboard space and Bosch dishwasher. Other stand-out features of this one-of-a-kind home include high ornate ceilings, a lovely enclosed veranda, decorative architraves and solid timber floors, gas heating and NBN connection, plus a substantial back garden with lock-up garage (via Selbourne Street) and plenty of room for future expansion (STCA). Walking distance to local primary schools (Coburg West and St Fidelis), public transport options, parks, cafes and shopping precincts, as well as easy access to Citylink/Tullamarine Freeway.

Vendor Review

The marketing campaign was well thought…

The marketing campaign was well thought out, as was the price range set, although the property ultimately exceeded the reserve by a substantial margin. Denise was attuned to the particular qualities of the house, which is quite unusual and has an unconventional floor plan, but also an abundance of natural light, which is unusual in a 100-year-old house.
