43 Albert Street has been an amazing home for us over the last 15 years. It’s light-filled, welcoming feel, has been fantastic for entertaining throughout our 20’s, especially after we built the pizza oven! It was when we got Albie, our dog, that we truly started to appreciate the value of being a stone’s throw from Fleming Park and met the friendly local community which this open space fosters. We then went on to have both our daughters while living here, naturally resulting in us spending even more time at home. The sun soaked north-facing living room, the great layout of the kitchen and the garden, significantly contributed to making this time very special and positive. It was during this time that we renovated the bathroom and replace the dilapidated garage with the wonderful new garage/studio. We have primarily used this extra space for family and friends to come and stay. Although we have not required it, there are wires in the wall above the bathroom door in the studio, should you desire to install A/C. Also, there is plumbing in the north wall next to the bathroom, if you think a kitchenette would enhance this space. The other option we envisaged was a kitchen/laundry area in the entrance room to the garage, close to the pizza oven, but we ended up enjoyed this space as a woodwork workshop. Also, worth mentioning, having off street parking speaks for itself in this thriving suburb! We are excited for the new owners of 43 Albert Street to be able to enjoy all these features, as well as easy access to a supermarket when EBV is completed.
