The first thing we noticed was the local market knowledge Damian came with. The next thing was the flexible selling model, a number of "off-ramps", and flexible cost strategies for driving toward the sale of the property. This gave us much more control over how we sold, when we sold, and under what conditions we would sell.
We had an incredibly challenging deadline to prepare the house and finish the renovations, whilst working interstate. We were keen to do the renovations to a very high quality - so that it was something we were proud of offering. Damian and Daniel supported us through frequent contact to track our progress toward our auction deadline, and offered support through their contacts when we were met with challenges. They even checked in on the house and progress of our builders whilst we were interstate and unable to do so!
We made the deadline, and the results were outstanding for us!
Damian continued to inject conservatism to manage our expectations for the result of the auction, continually updating us on the open inspections, the feedback from the those that attended the inspections, and a refection based on his extensive experience in the area.
Damian is a local, and his knowledge of the market, what potential buyers wanted and were looking for, and his incredible auction skills, and the preparation that he and Daniel (and I suspect a number of back-office personnel) drove an unexpectedly good result!
Nelson Alexander made a great team with us, as we all worked toward achieving a result that we were all delighted with!!
