The comprehensive renovation of this peaceful, 3 bedroom villa has created a timeless home of irresistible taste that embraces open-plan living and proudly exceeds expectations. Blissfully tucked-away at the very rear of 'Prestige Place', no detail has been overlooked in presenting you with the quality-filled dimensions of a house, whilst remaining almost totally maintenance-free.
Opened-up for a contemporary flow, the kitchen / meals / living is a generous space in which vast CaesarStone benches wrap-around to provide durable food-preparation surfaces that double as the ideal place for guests to gather over a glass of wine. Suited also to gourmet cooking, the kitchen showcases an abundance of stylish cabinetry and a striking glass black sink that is themed to the cooktop. This is a particularly appealing space with impressive 3 metre ceilings and an easy outdoor flow to the backyard to suit entertaining.
Also noteworthy, the home's bathroom is brand new and fully-tiled with a claw bath, independent shower and vogue feature tiling. Meanwhile, each of the bedrooms is equipped with substantial floor-to-ceiling built-in robes.
A double garage is particularly large with enough room for a workshop and additional storage, plus there is driveway parking for another 2 vehicles and plenty of visitor parking. Additional highlights include brand new gas ducted heating, split system cooling, a powder room, an eye-catching brand new laundry and Oak timber-toned flooring.
This terrific and emerging location is within easy walking distance of the glorious expanses of Darebin Creek parkland, fine local cafes and just moments from the convenience Northland Shopping Centre, plus you have plenty of local buses along Southern Rd.

What we love about this home:
We love that our home is a surprise package; an open kitchen/living perfect for entertaining, funky bathroom and tall ceilings that make the whole house feel light and airy. It was our first home, so it will always be special to us. We've put a lot of ourselves into it; and love the warm, modern result we've been able to convey. It's been the perfect sized yard for raising our puppy and playing with our nephew. And the double garage has been a great solution for parking, a workshop and hosting our adventure items. We will miss the bubble baths in our freestanding claw-foot tub.

What we love about this suburb:
In the two years we've lived here we've seen Heidelberg Heights shift into a wonderfully family friendly suburb. We see this every day at Shelley park where we meet countless new residents, as well as the regulars, walking their dogs and playing on the park equipment. We've loved Saturday morning brunch as we're perfectly situated for the cafes in both Rosanna and Ivanhoe, and the commute to work has been a breeze - 30mins on the train to the city, or a 25min drive. Not to mention the unbeatable fish and chips on Southern Rd. Having Northland around the corner has made weekly shopping, and trips to Bunnings, especially easy.

Why we are selling:
It's time for a new adventure. And as we look to grow our family we've decided the time is right for us to upsize. But Heidelberg Heights is still very much on our radar as we look for our next property.
