Owners Notes

We have been the only occupiers of 402, living here since the beginning in 2018. We love the easy and relaxed lifestyle – everything just works. The insulation, sound-proofing and solar energy is on point, and the shower-heads are dreamy. Not having to worry about home-upkeep has enabled us to spend our free time on far more joyous pursuits!

The view from our apartment is of the unmarred tree line of Yarra Bend Park, Melbourne’s largest natural bushland park. Facing east, we wake up to spectacular sunrises, and in the evening we relax on our balcony with vino in hand, watching the sunset glow on the treetops.

The 122 Roseneath community is undoubtedly the most rewarding part of living here. Our monthly potluck dinners in the communal dining area allow for genuine neighbour-bonding, and our private Facebook page/level 4 whats-app group will mean that you will never be faced with the dilemma of a milk-less coffee in the morning or thirsty plants while away.

A few hundred metres down the street is the meeting place of the Merri Creek, the Yarra Bend Park, and a riverside path to Abbotsford Convent. There’s a playground, ovals galore, golf course and tracks through beautiful stretches of river wilderness. Trail running, canoeing and long meandering walks are among our favourite ways to unwind after work.

In the other direction, you’ll hit Fitzroy and Collingwood in minutes, and Westgarth and Northcote on the other side. It takes us twenty minutes on our bike to get to work in the city, and on the way in we like to stop by Fitzroy Leisure Centre for a swim and sauna.

Everything you need is in easy reach from 122 Roseneath, and the only reason we jump in the car is to get out of town. And as we’re just around the corner from the M3 highway, weekend escapes are that much quicker to get to.
