Emma Trethowan from Northcote - best agent as renters we've ever experienced
This is the first time in our ten years of renting in Victoria where we have felt like actual, valued clients of our Real Estate agency, rather than 'just' renters that provide a fortnightly payment. The team at Nelson Alexander Northcote, and our property manager Emma Trethowan in particular, provide incredible service and have been a big part in making us feel like this place is our home.
Recently, a leak was discovered in our gas pipes (due to an annual check-up that Nelson Alexander initiated unprompted). Emma organised replacement heaters that were delivered that very night, for a second plumber to be brought in to confirm the leak the next morning, and then the leak was fixed and gas switched back on the following day. At no point did we have to push to be taken care of, updates were provided reguarly (and even after hours), and everything was sorted incredibly quickly and efficiently.
Emma is easy to get a hold of and responsive to emails and calls, which seems like such a simple thing but has been a rarity with estate agents in our experience.
