What we love about this home:

This home is very comfortable, private, light and bright. It was architecturally designed and has a great layout - lots of large windows and doors to allow natural light and the void adds to the feeling of height in the main living area.

We love the landscaped garden with grassed area, ornamental maple tree and storage shed and the merbau timber deck is great for outdoor dining. The outdoor space also feels really private!

We upgraded the appliances in the kitchen, have beautiful stone bench tops and opted for Oak floorboards throughout. It’s just a really easy home to live in.

What we love about this suburb:

Best neighbours that we have ever had. On one side an Italian woman who built the home in the late 60s and has lived there ever since. She has a huge plum tree which she insists we help ourselves to. On the other side, a young couple who are lovingly updating their home. Great community in our development too!

The area is full of lots of young families – there is heaps of renovation going on.

Has a safe feel – mainly older Italians who have lived here since 60s/70s or young families/couples. There is a modern children’s center and kindergarten at the end of the street which is well used by young families in the area. It is also very quiet at night and you can hear the birds. Easy access to Reservoir shops and cafes, Preston Market and Edwards Lake Park.

Why we are selling:

We are hoping to expand our family and move to a place with a third bedroom.
