Owners Notes

When originally looking to buy a home in the area I was immediately drawn to the wide, tree winged beauty of Canterbury Street. There is ample parking available and the large deciduous trees provide a canopy of summer shade whilst allowing winter light.

I bought this home fully renovated 5 years ago and as such there has been little to do a part from general upkeep and maintenance (which prospective buyers can see) allowing me to enjoy my time here.

The house location was near my workplace at the time. It allows easy access to the vibrant Puckle Street precinct, the nearby freeway and just a short 10-minute commute to the city. It is a short trip to Melbourne Airport as well as the showgrounds and Flemington Racecourse. The spring racing carnival provides another dimension to the vibrancy of the area without impacting on noise or traffic locally.

There are many young families in the area and The Stables; an open green space and playground just 50 metres away is another bonus adding to the sense of community in the street. I have fond memories of number 65 Canterbury Street. It was my first home and I have always enjoyed sharing it with friends and family. I am sure it would be an equally pleasant home for a single person, couple or family.
