After four months spent manning the reception desk part time at Nelson Alexander’s Carlton North office, Paige Hockley made up her mind; real estate was the career for her. It was the right move. Just three weeks after completing her Agent’s Representative qualification, she was promoted from reception to Portfolio Manager and is now team leader.
Paige relishes the daily interactions with rental providers and renters. “You are constantly creating and building relationships,” she explains. “There are new challenges to deal with each day – the industry really keeps you on your toes.” Client satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Paige. Her empathy, problem solving abilities and local knowledge are crucial tools for ensuring both rental providers and renters are happy.
After hours, Paige enjoys playing sport, catching up with family and friends back in her hometown of Seymour, and dining at Melbourne’s many popular cafes.
