I was lucky enough to buy 498 Canning nine years ago. I fell in love with the street. With clear views directly to the city when you walk out the front door, the large median strip that has housed many parties and picnics over the years, and the palm plantations make the street so beautiful and unique.

We renovated the home three years ago and added a second level. Being an interior designer, functionality, and quality is of the highest importance. Carefully considered joinery design was created to make a terrace home highly efficient. Calling on all my favourite designer products such as Rogerseller for bathroom fittings, Elba marble to the kitchen, the Steam oven is the best appliance we have! The Miele fridge has 14 lights in it - it’s epic... Matteo Nunziati hand-painted tiles to the master ensuite are just a few of the key features. Custom-designed steel doors were the real highlight of our renovation. I fall in love with them every day!

It is a low maintenance, easy and efficient home to live in. The morning sun streams into the living space in the morning with beautiful sunsets in our master bedroom of the evening. The shadows that cast on the facade from our master bedroom are magnificent. We often wake up in the morning and see 6-7 balloons floating past our house.

The courtyard, albeit compact, has hosted many fun bbqs with many. We have an outdoor projector to pin the screen up on the back fence, and there you go - an outdoor cinema.
