What we love about this home:
We purchased this home just before we got married, knowing that we wanted a space for our family to grow into. With family and friends living close by, we knew having a spacious home and back yard would be ideal for having everybody over.
In the 8 years we have owned the home, we’ve enjoyed having our own ensuite and walk in robe, enabling the kids to have their own bathroom and really separating the spaces for the adults and the kids.
This theme continues throughout the home with two separate living areas that are divided in such a way that we can have our own peace and quiet while still being able to keep an eye on the kids. The layout of the kitchen facilitates entertaining family/friends while still being able to supervise the kids.
What we love about this suburb:
We have always loved living in Preston and particularly in this pocket. Having a playground across the road and a larger oval just down the street is particularly convenient. Going to the market on the weekend as a family and trying all of the different foods/vendors is always a lot of fun. Being able to get to work in the city by any of the tram, train or bus routes makes commuting a breeze.
Why we are selling:
We are relocating overseas and if not for this, would not consider selling our home. We will be sad to leave the area and to sell the house that we have raised 3 kids in.
