Fall in love with the irresistible charm of this one-of-a-kind home, with its distinctive triple-fronted facade, enhanced interior and abundance of natural light throughout, this clinker-brick classic delivers a high-quality, low-maintenance lifestyle with every Reservoir advantage at your doorstep. Retaining all the character of its mid-century origins (c1949), the home's free-flowing design showcases three generous bedrooms (large master) all with built-in robes, together with a stylish central bathroom and separate WC. Adding to its design versatility is a front lounge with open fireplace, formal dining or sitting room leading through to the open living/meals area and modern kitchen complete with tiled splashbacks, ample cupboard space, 900mm cooking appliances and Bosch dishwasher. High ceilings with original cornices throughout, the home also includes a family-sized laundry, ducted heating and refrigerated cooling, plantation shutters across the front and solid hardwood floors, as well as a smart home automation/security system. Step outside to discover a wide patio and north-facing courtyard garden with gate to Kelsby Street, plus a single lock-up garage and additional driveway parking space. Walking distance to the beautiful open spaces of Edwardes Lake Park, Reservoir Primary School, local buses and Reservoir train station, and moments from Preston and Reservoir's popular eateries and vibrant retail precincts.

Owners Notes

What we love about this home:

We purchased this home 15 years ago and immediately fell in love with its character and charm - something not easily found among new homes built today. With so many unique features and details, along with ample space and a feeling of warmth, it has been a genuine pleasure to call this house our family home.

So close to the local shops and great cafes/restaurants, public transport and Edwardes Lake, we’ve been very spoilt with everything at our doorstep!

What we love about this suburb:

Reservoir has been a great place to live, with lovely neighbours and friendly people, great local food and fun for the kids at Edwardes Lake Park. Reservoir is easily accessible to lots of Melbourne - 25 minutes to the city by car, close to the airport, close to freeways and lots of transport options close by.

Why we are selling:

We are moving to a rural property and unfortunately can’t keep our Reservoir home.

Vendor Review

A genuine pleasure to work with Michelle and her team

A huge thank you to Michelle Portelli, Jordan and Portia for their guidance and advice throughout the process of the sale of our property. We were absolutely thrilled with the end result! It has been a genuine pleasure to work with Michelle and her team. We were kept up to date throughout the campaign, it was very well organised and her team were always available to answer any questions we had. She is a real credit to the industry - hard-working, professional and trust-worthy. We are happy we chose her as our agent and have no hesitation in recommending Nelson Alexander to anyone selling in the area.
