What we love about this home:

I love all the natural light and how spacious it feels. It has been architecturally designed and you can tell from such details as the raised roofline in the living room. Having a study is a bonus, given the trend towards a hybrid workforce. There's lots of storage space, and I've loved being able to grow plants, trees and vegetables in the courtyard.

What we love about this suburb:

Preston is a vibrant area, with the market, Northland Shopping Centre, public transport and trendy cafes nearby. My children went to the local primary school, Preston Primary School, which has a stellar reputation and it certainly set them up for success in life.

What features does your property have?

Water tank, garden shed, air-conditioning (ground floor with fan for second floor) and central heating. Two large cupboards for storage - one under the stairs and one in the roof. There's is also access to the council laneway at the rear of the property. It is a private and enclosed space that is shared with the adjoining neighbour and used for growing vegetables.
