Style, space, and garden sanctuary for contemporary living

A secluded indoor-outdoor haven amid tranquil courtyard gardens, this three-bedroom townhouse provides a low-maintenance lifestyle with light-filled spaces and stunning modern style. With Kew Junction's endless indulgences nearby, the home balances tranquil retreat and a lively lifestyle, situated footsteps from cosy cafes and restaurants, boutique shopping, city-bound trams, the Kew Recreation Centre, Victoria Park, and the relaxing Anniversary trail, while surrounded by leading schools.

Traversed by gleaming Spotted Gum floors, an expansive lounge and dining domain brings the outdoors in through a border of full-height windows, capturing northern sun and verdant garden views. By night, the space transforms into a vibrant entertainer, mingling guests beside a gas fireplace, while lively indoor-outdoor dinners are hosted beneath a retractable awning in a flourishing garden oasis. The fully appointed kitchen caters to family and friends at a stone-topped hostess island, providing the home cook with quality Miele appliances and plenty of cabinetry.

At the front of the home, a private sitting room delivers soothing space to read and relax, complemented by an upstairs retreat for home-based work or kids' play. The luxurious main bedroom is indulged with a sun-splashed terrace, a fitted walk-in-robe, and a chic ensuite, while two robed, secondary bedrooms share a stylish central bathroom. Providing split system air-conditioning and extensive storage throughout, the home is completed with a powder room, a laundry, an internal-access garage, and a carport.

Owners Notes

What do you love about the home?

We love the spacious, bright and airy rooms with high ceilings and ceiling to floor windows. The floorplan offers lots of flexibility for configuring the space to suit. We love the leafy outlook in our large, treelined courtyard.

We enjoy the occasional morning coffee on the upstairs balcony and we love the tree top views we have from there. It’s quiet and private.

The big stone benchtops in the kitchen area offer fantastic food preparation space and the storage space on both levels is amazing. We simply love the feel of the place.

What do you love about the area?

We like the fact that people of different backgrounds and diverse cultures live in Kew. Many of the reasons we love Kew are linked to where we live in Pakington Street. Amenities are important to us and we have them in spades here.

Kew is so accessible. For example, our home is a short stroll to the Kew shopping strip with its cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, delis, medical facilities …and the vet. We are near the Yarra walking trails and bike trails and close to lovely parks.

A walk to public transport (2 tram routes and various bus routes) makes it easy to reach the city or some of the major shopping centres in the eastern suburbs. The new Kew Aquatic Centre, ready in mid-2023, is a 2-minute stroll away! The numerous private and public schools in the area offer wonderful educational opportunities for families with school age children.

What features does your property have?

Security System, 4 split systems heating & cooling, gas log fireplace, drip feed garden watering system.

Why we are selling?
We now need to find a smaller home on one level following medical advice. We’ll be looking in Kew.
