What we love about this home:
The front façade is cosy and unassuming with lovely period features. The house and garden are fantastically low maintenance. Less preoccupation with cleaning, allowing for more time to do our own thing on weekends and evenings.
The open plan living/kitchen space are great to spend family time together in as well as for entertaining. The morning light through the rear northerly area is beautiful, lighting the space all year round.
It’s a serene street with the cul-de-sac limiting any through traffic and Bell City behind buffering from any Bell Street noise.
What we love about this suburb:
Fantastic amenities abound. From the countless great cafes and takeaway places to bars and restaurants within walking distance.
The tram stop is very close, making trips to the city convenient.
TA Cochrane Reserve is just across the street and around the corner. It is a great park with a recently upgraded playground, running path and nearby tennis courts. We have spent many a lovely afternoon there with many other families in the area frequenting it.
South Preston shopping center is perfect for local groceries and both Preston Market as well as Northland both a short drive away.
The impending Preston High school indicates the growth in the area, whilst Preston South Primary is a hop, skip and a jump across the road.
Why we are selling:
Whilst we love this house and location, we are moving to be closer to work.
