Owners Notes

What I love about this home:

The sweeping views never fail to impress, even when you see them every day. From watching hot-air balloons pass by in the early mornings to enjoying the city lights at night, the vista is endlessly interesting. You also have a front-row seat to NYE fireworks.

Level 7 is known as the penthouse floor at Gibsonia. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the apartment were a standout for me compared to other apartments I viewed before buying four years ago. They showcase the views and ensure great natural light throughout.

The upper level is ideal for entertaining. I also enjoyed working from home there, looking up from my laptop and seeing the city in front of me. The Master bedroom is enormous, opening onto a lovely courtyard and the second bedroom is large too.

Strata is well managed and the quarterly fees are reasonable.

What I love about this suburb:

With smart restaurants, vibrant cafes, art galleries and wide-ranging shopping options on your doorstep, Collingwood is a cool place to live. The community vibe is friendly and 20 mins by tram to the CBD is a real bonus. The locale gives you a hugely convenient lifestyle.

Why I am selling:

I met my partner after moving to Melbourne and we are now looking to buy a home together. I will really miss this property.

Any other information:

My friends and I loved walking the neighbourhood and visiting local parks for exercise or picnics. Fitzroy Gardens, Carlton Gardens and Edinburgh Gardens are all close and the nearby Fitzroy Pool complex is a great place to swim.
