What we love about this home:

We bought this home as an investment property some years ago. The last tenant has rented here for the past five years. It is an old home but it is comfortable and warm in winter. We put in a new heating system a couple of years ago and have kept up on all functional repairs to the place. The main reason we bought this home was for the land. It is a huge block with plenty of potential for development. The home has stood the test of time and a family can live comfortably here with plenty of room for children and pets to run around. The bungalow is quite serviceable and has been lived in until quite recently. The tenant advises us that she has had many family occasions here and the layout and space has allowed for large and lively gatherings.

What we love about this suburb:

Reservoir is a suburb that is family-friendly and we have noted that many young families have moved in over more recent years. We have watched Eisenhower Street and the surrounding area transform to an inner-city location with many new homes and renovated older ones. The area has become much livelier. The last tenant had children attending both the local primary school and Reservoir High School. Both are within walking distance and have good reputations. The tenant was very happy with both schools. Summerhill shopping Centre is a short walk and Latrobe University just close by. Northland is in walking distance and there are buses and trams nearby by as well. It is a well-serviced area and easy to live and commute from here.
