What we love about this suburb:

Preston is a suburb which has evolved so much. It’s great to see so many young couples purchasing in the area, the high school reopening; it really has a diverse demographic, which I love. Being so close to the market is just so convenient. A great Library, fabulous Vietnamese restaurants on High Street and lots of cool bars and cafes opening. Northland isn’t my favorite place, but it is actually really handy – and of course Bunnings is just down the road as well! We are also so close to the top end of Thornbury, jump on the tram or walk to the Picture House, etc.

Why we are selling:

The children have grown up and it is time to downsize a bit. We have had fourteen really happy years here. The house was essentially renovated when I bought it, but I have enjoyed putting my stamp on it and establishing the garden etc. I will miss Preston and the house!
