What we love about this home:

We instantly fell in love with this townhouse because of its spacious interior that makes it feel like a house, it’s location which is close to public transport, beautiful city views with the best sunsets. There is an abundance of natural light, and the garage is large enough for two cars, a workbench, and gym, not to mention storage space.

During the weekends we would cycle along the Merri Creek, grab a coffee and pastry from Joes Café/lunch Brunswick Ceres Cafe, cycle up to Brunswick/Fitzroy and enjoy some live music and great food. We always loved coming back to this comfortable space to entertain our friends and family or to just hangout watching the city views. The large kitchen island allows for barstools and is also another great entertaining space.

We grew vegetables in our raised garden bed and used this space for morning yoga and BBQs. On the winter days, the natural light would shine through the house providing essential heating. The ducted heating throughout the house makes it very cosy. You can also control the heating remotely on your phone, so during the cooler days you can come home to a warm house.

Having two bathrooms and walk in wardrobes have made things comfortable for us and visiting guests. We could have family over for extended periods of time and they had the privacy of their own bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. We would also enjoy the privacy and comfort of our ensuite.

During Covid our 39 Mount Pleasant Rd community banded together. We enjoyed virtual quizzes, had a small library with games and books and exchanged recipes, ingredients while ensuring everyone felt supported.

What we love about this suburb:

We love everything about this suburb and location. The location is close to public transport or driving distance into the city. You can also stroll down to Gilbert Rd shops for some delicious food, coffee, wine or pick up some groceries. We would also purchase organic fruit and vegetable from Joes Farm which is a 7 mins walk. Gilbert St precinct has everything you need including hairdressers, tailor, Yoga studio, bottle shop and post office.

We absolutely love how close we are to the Merri Creek and playgrounds. summer the Merri Creek is a beautiful place to walk in the evenings or have a picnic.

Why we are selling:

It has been a hard decision to sell this property, as you can tell, we are very much in love with this place and lifestyle it brings. We have decided to move to accommodate our growing family.
