What do you love about the home?

  • We fell in love with the sense of space and greenery from the elevated front yard and the view across all of Bundoora from our front deck.
  • We bought this as a young couple and grew our family here. We updated the kitchen, laundry and bathroom over the years to suit a modern living standard, and with a refresh it looks even better than new.
  • We love the warm look and colours of the polished boards. They look beautiful again with just a light sand and three fresh coats of gloss.
  • There's a wonderful sense of everyone in the house being within reach. You can stand in the kitchen and hear the kids playing in their rooms, but it's far enough that everyone can have privacy if they want it.
  • The open rear yard gives an amazing sense of open space, but as you can see the whole yard from the window, you're never far from the action and can keep an eye on it all.
  • The new window dressings really give the rooms a sense of elegance and style, and we love the beautiful filtered light from the front windows at sunrise.

What do you love about the area?

  • One street away from the Darebin Creek Trail, and bike rides to Bundoora Park are less than 10 minutes. During lockdowns this was a blessing, and we still love going for a ride to the cafe in Bundoora Park for a coffee.
  • Walking distance to the local IGA and shopping strip for all the little shopping trips. Close access to local kinder and childcare centres, as well as local schools.
  • Close to major roads to get where you're going, but tucked away enough to not have to deal with road noise or through traffic.
  • Parklands with playgrounds and sports fields only a few blocks away.
  • Our neighbours are wonderful and friendly, and our local shops all know our names. Wonderful sense of community in this little pocket of Reservoir.
  • Short drive to the train station (Keon Park), only a block away for bus to the station (Reservoir) or tram services (Plenty Rd.)
