What we love about this home:
When we bought this property we planned to renovate, sell, buy land, design and build a new home. It soon became apparent that this property is exceptional. The location of adjacent buildings, orientation, the fall of the land and location of existing buildings on the property provide opportunities to blend internal and external areas whereby each living area extends into secluded courtyards.
To accommodate changing family needs, for 44 years we have renovated, relocated the kitchen several times, also the bathroom and built a self contained apartment rather than moving. It would be difficult to improve on the basic structure of this house which allows easy relocation and extension of rooms.The labour intensive component of landscaping has been done providing further opportunity for planting and lighting to provide an unmatched sense of space especially at night.
